Researching the effects and impact of improving beneficial biology is a serious challenge. In the ‘real world’ there are millions of organisms from thousands of different species which are all competing and interacting with one another. These interactions can and do change depending on environmental conditions. This constantly changing situation makes it all but impossible to rely on data which has been generated in a controlled laboratory trial, because the results rarely match what happens in the field. This is why the vast majority of our research over the years has been conducted in ‘real life’ situations and applications. In this way we can be confident of our ability to help, no matter what the situation happens to be.
